Creative Coaching Package ($350/month) : In this package, I will schedule two thirty minute phone call or video chat sessions* with you per month. I coach with strengths-based model, emphasizing your growth as a writer and your empowerment as an artist. We can use the time during these calls as you wish. Some examples of how to use the time would be to: discuss goals for the future, brainstorm ideas for writing, plan for your larger career as a writer, and/or discuss notes on a piece of writing up to twenty-five pages.

Guest Lecturing/Teaching (Rates dependent on project): I am available for lecturing and teaching on a variety of subjects, including craft, reading/analyzing literature, and the publishing/literary world, in-person or through an online venue. Contact me and we can discuss your needs.

Manuscript Diagnostics ($200/25 pages—rates negotiable for longer work): My approach toward manuscript diagnostics is question-based and will prompt you to consider your own work more critically, therefore increasing your capabilities as an artist. After reading your work I will offer you a detailed letter discussing your craft choices, how they are serving the work on the whole, and opportunities for revision. We will also have a thirty minute phone call or video chat session* to discuss my comments.

MFA Application Package ($500): My approach toward MFA applications emphasizes supporting your individual needs and helping you find programs and future avenues that will best serve you as an artist. In this package we will schedule six thirty minute phone call or video chat sessions* over the course of your application season (typically four months with one session a few months later as a post-application debrief) as spaces for support and discussion about the process. This time can be used as you wish, but most often has been used to discuss possible schools, work together to organize to do lists, discuss general questions/concerns about the process, discuss the application essay and/or writing sample, and/or debrief after decisions have come in. As part of this package I will read through your application essay and writing sample and provide notes in two rounds.

Query Diagnostics ($300): My approach toward query diagnostics is question-based and will prompt you to consider your own work more critically, therefore increasing your capabilities to frame it as an artist. After reading your query letter and first pages (typically up to twenty-five pages) I will offer you detailed feedback discussing your query letter structure, as well as your craft choices, how they are serving the work on the whole, and opportunities for revision. We will also have a thirty minute phone call or video chat session* to discuss my comments. (This package can also include some optional add-on thirty minute creative coaching sessions to discuss agent feedback and/or offers if needed. Each session would cost $75.)
